Noise Cancelling Headphones – Does the Bose QuietComfort Live Up to Its Reputation?
Bose was the first business to actively commence marketing the noise cancelling headphones to travelers. Weather it be to folks who traveled on a plane to get to their destination or those that use the subway or bus for their every day commute. There are numerous folks willing to pay for a pair of headphones that would significantly decrease noise without having to turn up the volume. Bose had an answer for the problem with the QuietComfort brand of headphones.
Bose biggest seller was the QC 2. Numerous reviewers praised it for the features it provided. But with the next version Bose made a large mistake by releasing a pair of headphones that were even a lot more pricey with much less features. One of the greatest difficulties was the shrinking of the earcups which reduced their capacity to block noise. The new QC15 is going by the motto “back to what works”.
The newest headphone released by Bose is basically a remake of the QC2. The QC15 is the same color as previous versions, black and silver. They also have the around the ear headphones with soft foam padding. 1 triple A battery powers the headset that will last for around 35 hours. It also consists of a 5 foot audio cable, a carrying case, and a pair of two prong airline adapters.
As stated before nothing has actually changed from the QC2 version of the headphones. That means that the Bose QC headphones are truly nice but they in no way stand out sufficient to make them worth the asking price of bucks. There are other less expensive brands out there that will down proper compete if not knock Bose out the race in noise cancellation and sound department. If you are willing to pay the price for a nice pair of headphones that remain comfortable and straightforward to wear regardless of the size of your head, then you might just want to think about the QuietComfort.
