Well, I have never made a video, but I feel that if you have had this happen with your laptop/ipod/mp3/etc, then you deserve to know how to do this so that you do not have to RMA or waste money and anger on something easy to fix. So I am going to make a video for the first time illuminating you on how I fixed this stupid problem. If you are desperate, then you desreve to know. Disclaimer: You screw it up. You screw it up. Sorry. Don’t hold me responsible. You need to be smart and test for at least ONE HOUR before doing this on the device. Testing a metal surface will let you know what to do. If you do not listen on that, you are going to screw it up. You’ve been warned. But if you do test, you will do just fine. Trust me. =P

i wish id seen this site earlier. My earphone tip broke off in my iPod touch when i sat down in class, and the tip broke off. I tried desperately for hours trying to get it out. Finnaly,I did. I used the flatter end of a pair of scissors and i chopped some tweezers to the skinnier end. When I tried to put another pair of earphones in, it appeared that the plug was too small. The cushion-like black stuff was gone. If you could make a video showing how to repair it, or find another part i could buy, that would make my day!
