These are the new model which replaces the MDR-NC22. Featuring 90% noise cancellation.

I am really more concerned with sound quality than noise cancellation. Excellent hi-fidelity sound is a must. I use 256 kbps AAC format. I want to spend $300 or less. I would prefer info on actual headphones (not earbuds or canalphones). Thanks so much!!!

Yes, I happen to know that you are around the ear and one is the örat.On Earbud coast around the ear 179 and cost 139 What I ask is because this is the case, both have the same quality of sound, right? In any case, it should cost less than on-ear? I plan to buy one or the other. I just dont get the price difference, it is expensive, better sound quality? Moreover, it seems that both have some form of noise reduction. Instead, Bose does not list how the noise-canceling headphones. So do they or do not have the noise cancellation (if not, ultimately, reduce the noise? Longer reduced my Sennheiser noise) for the Bose haters, we suggest a little ‘headphones another $ 200? Perferrably excellent sound and noise canceling? ‘m Just buying them because I do not know any other good. Cheers!

I have the Philips in ear now, but are rather bulky and I can not wear sunglasses with them coz they have an ear clip. If there are other on-ear headphones that can have a much smaller, hook close, it’s good. I have nothing against the principal, but to see the piece that goes in your head is as small as possible. I use public transportation as much noise reduction / cancellation / isolation is a must. It must be headphones in your ear, not in or around.
